To PJs, with love

I just received word my favorite bar from college, PJ Kilroy's in Boston - near Fenway Park - has closed down for good.

A sad day for my alcoholic tendencies.

I first went there with some work buddies - in my time there, I shot some dart games, shot some pool, drank cheap pitchers of Bud Light, had a few after-work bottles, celebrated my 21st, celebrated St. Patrick's Day and patched up a relationship.

It only seems like a year ago I was there.

That's because I was.

Every college student needs a dive bar - a place to drink for cheap, get plastered within walking distance of your (or your booty call's) place and be with a couple dozen of your best friends. A true Irish dive, and one of the best little bars there was.

Sad to see you go, PJs. One more for the road.
